From the 04th to the 08th of September 2023, the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Businesses, with the participation of Senator Franziska Giffey, together with the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Berlin Partner for Business and Technology GmbH, is organizing a market reconnaissance trip to Jakarta, Indonesia. Frank Wolters, Managing Director of Tegel Projekt GmbH, is taking part in the trip.
Berlin and Jakarta are already working together in the areas of innovation, digitalization and entrepreneurship as part of the EU project “Smart-Change”. One result of this is the “Jakarta Future City Hub,” which will serve as a meeting and collaboration space for local government and startups and will be opened during the delegation trip. The program also includes visits to local companies with opportunities for individual B2B meetings and a tour of the Jakarta Smart City Control Center. The signing of a Letter of Intents between Berlin and Jakarta will conclude the excursion.
