From the 22th to the 24th June 2022, the GREENTECH FESTIVAL was a guest at the Urban Tech Republic for the first time. With more than 200 exhibitors, around 1,000 award guests, over 1,500 conference participants and over 10,000 visitors, everything in Berlin TXL revolved around sustainable change for a liveable future for three days. In keeping with the theme of sustainability, Tegel Projekt used a multi-touch table in the hangar for the first time at a trade fair to provide information exclusively in digital form about the after-use plans. Outdoor, the FUTR HUT – the innovation centre for building materials of the future – was presented to the public for the first time. Gudrun Sack was a guest with active parts on several panels and in interviews as well as publicity appointments from the festival. The realisation of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL is another important milestone on the way from planning to implementation of the Urban Tech Republic. With the first tenants and interim uses, life is moving into the location!
