“Shaping the future together” was the motto of the Digital Forum 2022 of the DAB Digital Agency Berlin on 07 September. In addition to an exciting panel talk on the topic of “digital working and business world”, current projects were presented and discussed at the associated mini-expo. Tegel Projekt GmbH presented the FUTR HUB at the stand of Zukunftsorte Berlin. The FUTR HUB is the centre of excellence for urban data in Berlin TXL. The core of the FUTR HUB is a data platform that will bring together, network and provide urban data. Urban data can come from sensors in building vents, traffic lights or charging columns, for example. Based on a geodata infrastructure, which also includes the planning documents for Berlin TXL, the system will be gradually merged with an IoT system and further developed into a fully comprehensive data platform around topics such as energy, mobility and smart nature. In the future, all urban data at the location will be integrated and developed into a “digital twin” of Berlin TXL. A digital twin offers urban planners the possibility to simulate, visualise and optimise processes and planning in advance.
Neighbours at the Future Locations stand were Technologiepark Adlershof and Siemensstadt Square, which presented their solutions and use cases with a focus on sustainable building management and “digital twins”.
Diverse discussions, exciting questions and a visit from Tino Schopf, State Secretary for Energy and Operations, made the DAB Digital Forum 2022 a complete success!
