With Miles to the Urban Tech Republic

The car sharing provider MILES has activated the business area in Berlin TXL. This is an important step towards improving the connection of the former airport to the urban infrastructure. Whether tenants of the Urban Tech Republic and their guests, participants in our guided tours, visitors to events, neighbouring allotment gardeners or local employees – the stationless free-floating system from MILES now gives everyone the opportunity to get to Berlin TXL comfortably and easily. The car-sharing provider focuses on mobile solutions that are shared, sustainable and accessible to all as an alternative to private car ownership, thus actively linking the Urban Tech Republic’s core theme of “new forms of mobility” with everyday life in Berlin TXL. The three areas belonging to the business area at the former Tegel Airport can be seen in the MILES app. With the registration code BERLINTXL, new customers receive €15 in free credit at the start.
