New digital offering: “The Future of Berlin TXL

With the opening of the new BER airport in October, the closure of Berlin-Tegel airport is drawing ever closer. About half a year after the last plane took off from Tegel, the plans for Berlin TXL are being implemented. Until then, all information about the subsequent use of the airport can now be found in the new digital information centre: www.zukunft-berlintxl.de. What will actually happen when Tegel Airport closes? What will the project area look like in the future? What do the Beuth University of Applied Sciences and the Berlin Fire Brigade hope for from the new location? And what does the New York Times actually write about Berlin TXL? Categories such as “Berlin TXL in Figures”, “Big Cinema” and “Residents & Friends” provide answers and a quick overview. If you want to know exactly what’s going on, you can still find more in-depth information about the after-use on the project websites of the Urban Tech Republic and the Schumacher Quartier.
